The very first e-Estonia Digital Discussion brought us to the timely topic of e-Education. With Covid-19 remaining a global threat, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) estimated that the disruption to education systems worldwide could result in a 1.5% drop in global economic output until the end of the 21st century. Meanwhile, Estonian schools had only a few days to react before they were closed up and down the country – and yet, there was no noticeable disruption thanks to e-education solutions, some of which had been around for almost two decades.
Digital Transformation Adviser Anett Numa will give an overview of everything Estonia has done to create a convincing and comprehensive e-Education ecosystem. e-Estonia’s Digital Transformation Adviser Florian Marcus, will lead an exciting session with three digital e-education solutions – Clanbeat, eKool and 99math.
