A methodology of 12-month teacher in-service training program. The induction programme provides for a mentor to supervise the work of the novice teacher. The mentor, who is a teacher at the host school, is appointed by the school director and has at least three years of experience in pedagogical work and completed a specific training in supervision. The mentor is also required to provide feedback to the initial teacher education institution where the novice teacher obtained his or her qualification. During the induction year, the novice teacher prepares an individual development chart which contains a self-evaluation of his or her experience.
